A different Puukko in Takefu Suminagashi & Grenadille... ;)

Hi there !

This puukko was a custom order of sorts :
The customer trusted me on just everything (which BTW proves he doesn't really know me, right?!!! =D), from blade-shape to handle-material.
He just wanted me to use Takefu's Suminagashi (ShiroGami II core-layer).
And the puukko to be beautiful & fierce.

It actually is very close to a zero grind.
I hope these better pix after sharpening will show it.
The spine is about 4mm thick.

The wood is 'grenadille' (in French) which apparently is called 'African BlackWood' in order to set is apart from Ebony...

It actually is ShiroGami2 (so the sticker says at least) - maybe they just don't do it anymore (I bought it like 6-7 years ago) ?

I wish I could find (well, buy...) such suminagashi with a Super AoGami core layer...
