I really like this knife.

But I'm not happy with how tight it fits into the Buck sheath.
I wouldn't want the cerakote to rub off the knife.
😉

So I got another sheath, a bit bigger but still secure.

I'm pleased, so someday when I smarten up and retire, I can carry my knife.

Anyone here carrying a 110 or 112 in something different that you like?

I use this horizontal carry buffalo hide sheath for my 110 AE. I thread it onto my belt just above my left front pocket. Makes it very easy to reach with my right hand, and I can't even tell its there until I think about it. Been using this same one as my at-home edc for over a year now, and it works very well for me.

I like mine also since I received it I have had it on , weekends only, don't carry on the belt at work just in the pocket - this pic is my rotation if I dont carry on the belt I use the Pro Hunter as I swapped out
the limited edition 110 Scales with the Pro Hunter as they were so dark as you can see. I like the swap. The Sheath I use is an early 70's one well broken in from the square bolsters of any early 110, I alos like the low drop on an earlier sheath vs the high carry on a newer one.

I have a few different solutions for carrying a 110 or 112, but for belt carry I need it to be horizontal. I like the nylon sheaths for their horizontal carry, but prefer leather. This sheath came super stiff, so I wet molded it to a 110 LT and now all 110s click in nicely with the added security of the flap. Then I removed the vertical loop, matched it with a scrap piece of boar hide, and stitched them into the existing seam. Voilá! A horizontal leather flap sheath with Buck branding. If only it were brown 😀.

Did the sewing yesterday on extended warming break from working in the barn. It took my inexperienced hands about an hour. The wet forming was a week or so ago. Best left over a heating vent.

That is a pretty slick setup! Love the orange 110 too! Thanks for sharing!

Is it a Buck OEM? Thanks
Yep, it's a Factory Blemish as the frame is slightly warped and you can see daylight looking through the spine. When anyone asks, though, I tell them it's monogrammed because my real name is Federico Baldessari (it's not) 😂.

This pic gives some idea of how the frame is warped, out of true, bent, etc. It's not fixable, but as it works perfectly, there's nothing to fix. I got it here on the Exchange from RICKSTER RICKSTER , so maybe we can get the story on it. It was in the original packaging, the box was marked by Buck as a Factory Blemish, and he probably bought it online from Buck.
