a different take on a sheath for a Leatherman (plus bits)

Something I put together a while back. I wanted to be able to store the bits and things but also have an easy way of leaving it behind if need be. I also wanted to be able to dual use the bit holder for other things and be able to carry each part separately.

used 4 Line 24 snaps so I can just press the two halves together. Seems real strong once all 4 are snapped. This way I can just use a caribiner to attach it to my bag but still have flexibility in wearing each part on the belt.

here's my frankenstein. Be easy on my stitching (esp the rear) It is an artform that I haven't mastered yet. lol

I'm with him.

I really like the use of different weights, dyes and threads. Modular designs are really cool. Can you imagine how much it would cost to have that rig made? Gotta love being able to diy. :
