Hey guys how are yah

I'm looking for advise on what would be the best way to make intricate wooden knives/Sticks. I was hoping if i could just use one knife to do everything.

If you could advise on what knife would be best for this task, i would appreciate it.

take care

aj

A good three blade slip joint whittler can do it, but they're not usually at a retail store on the shelf waiting - catalogs and e-stores stock them.

I think saks are good carvers and for a tradition slip-joint a queen in d2 would be my first choice.:)

Thanks for the help guys. Would it be possible for you advise on exact knife models since i have no clue about saks or slip joints. Thanks for your help take care

I found that my Okapi does Ok , but then I dont do intricate carving , I stick with basic tribal designs , Im lucky to live in Snake Dreaming country , snakes are easy to carve :)

I dunno if it qualifies for a slip joint tho .

I have a friend I gave one to ( to stop him borrowing mine all the time ) and he carves boab nuts and emu egs with it , he realy does do intricate work with them .
