I have been working on this for a while. I wanted to make a way to pretty much use EVERYTHING that comes with the Izula Survival Kit and fit it into the sheath.
I started out with doing a different wrap on the handle, I used leather and attached the whistle to it. I still get a really good grip and the whistle does not get into the way, plus it does not rattle.
I took the two split rings that came with the Kit to make a trap with and put them into the sheath by putting behind the belt lock.
I then took the paracord and wrapped it around the sheath and tucked it into the side.
From here you can also take the fire flint and slip it into the front part where the paracord wraps, you can split the end of the paracord and tie the end of the flint in and slip it into the wound paracord, which will hold VERY tight anyway, but having it tied in is just an extra safety measure.
This kit was made possible by Derrick Bohn, at Knives Ship Free.com, always great prices and great service!
