A Dilemma....BK9 ?'s

I SOOOO want a BK9. But i am cheap @ss and want to trade for one. I've got some pretty decent trade bait i think (gossman psk jr w/ micarta,kydex, and leather), but i want some feedback from you all first. Should i trade this lil dude for the becker beast plus something else??? HALP ME PLEASE

or just post a trade in the right area, and take a risk. orrrr upgrade your forum experience, and sell stuff, then buy with cold hard cash :)

i've also seen some people selling their 9s in a couple places (don't know what they are thinking... ), so you could contact them directly about trades.

this reminds me that i need to order some of the new stuff soon, esp a couple BK-13s, some BK-11 micarta, and the new BK-02 when it's in...

magnum camp coming... need to order two :)

i understand the whole cheapass thing...im a construction worker, and this isnt exactly the busiest time of the year. i did say to heck with it and recently got one anyway, and it was well worth it. i just cut a few corners and will have to go without shooting for a week or so since i used my weekly ammo fundage. no big deal, like i said, it was worth it.
 
well my cheapness stems from my significant other. i have boxes of knives...and if i buy another it is a "waste"....trading is a different story tho :D Go fig
 
some cant believe i recently gave up my Chris Reeve Aviator(which i had a bit of money invested in) with hopes of expanding my Becker collection. my CR was a safe queen, and i simply like my Beckers more. anyone whos used them hard will agree, they are the best out there. what good does a "pretty collectible" do you in the middle of the woods?

Your absolutely right, you can't take them with you when you die and they're not any good if they aren't tested and used! :thumbup:
 
amen brother, but if i can take a few, it'll be my Beckers, a Buck 110, and maybe a rifle for all them 12 point bucks on the Heavenly hunting grounds

Now THAT is a difficult choice! Dang, guns OR knives. Me, I keep buying telling myself one day I'll sell something to make room. Heck, gonna need a bigger house first.

As for using it vs. taking it with you, my Beckers get use, but I have an early custom ANZA that is one of seven (was supposed to be 51 but the plan died). I REALLY need to find a loophole in that whole "you can't take it with you" thing so I can bring that one along!

And just so I appear to stay on topic, splurge for the BK-9. Just give up lunch for a week or so! You can use the 9 to forage for food and save the $$$.
