Well I explained to the wife that in 2015 i will be saving money with less expenditure. I did mention that I would only be picking up two blades this year. A BK9 and a 24.

After much contemplation i thought it would be best to get these purchases out of the way now so i could focus on my goals for the year, and that I would save on the postage by ordering them together. She agreed and her only comment was - your smooth.

Anyway my blades are on the way.

Uh... You lied to her right to her face. Have you already forgotten the 21??? It will be released this year, man.

I'm thinking circumstances may change and we may need enter into further discussions down the track.

Hmmm...your Minister of Finance seems more amenable to these sorts of purchases than mine. My MoF seems to think that carpet or tile or furniture or some doo-dad to hang on the wall are eminently higher on our home's hierarchy of needs than blades. I guess I could consider a recall election or appointment but after 37 years of managing budgets with the same lovely and talented Minister of Finance I've just learned to be creative in my accounting.;)

I am the Minister of Finance. I talk to myself a lot.

Congrats on having your purchase orders approved. :-)
