Here's a drop point hunter for a customer in the phillipines, it has a handle of mammoth bone, with inlay of musk ox horn, fossil walrus ivory, mammoth tooth, oosik, and mammoth ivory. I think I will call it the Alaska museum of natural history specimen piece. The blade is about four inches long, of 1095 and 15N20, the guard is mokume and the handle is about 4 1/2 inches long. The stand is made with caribou antler. Thanks for looking at it, I hope you like it.

Mark, it's fascinatingly beautiful and yet looks wonderfully functional at the same time. Another winner.

Good looking piece Mark. But we're not letting you get away without identifying all the different materials in the handle.

as usual the handle is terrific and I like this blade shape. my only concern is the choil and the index finger groove appear to be the same size which puts too much visual emphasis on the middle of the knife. Love the stands you create although a darker wood on the bottom would keep the eye viewing the knife. Just a couple observations and thoughts.

Nice work, Mark, I like the proportions of this blade. The inlays and mokume really set it apart.

Another VERY cool handle construction Mark. Nice damascus, and the stand is awesome too!

Pleasure seeing it.
