First, I need to state I have done nothing to deserve such a gift or kindness. This is a testament to the magnitude that is Jack Black's heart and thoughtfulness.

My wife and I just finished tying new necklaces around each of the girls. My wife and my oldest daughter are now exploring the planets with 3d glasses. My youngest is eagerly waiting her turn. I keep hearing Adaylynn say, "This is awesome!" and, "I love this mom!" She pauses just long enough for Laura to look up at me and say, "This is a really great book." I myself am sitting here wearing a smile as the joy on my girls' faces continues to grow with each new sticker and each page turned.

A few weeks ago Jack wrote me a pm requesting my mailing info, that he would like to send my daughters something. Upon sending him the info, gladly allowing the legend that is Jack to spoil my lil ones, he replied and mentioned sending me something as well.

Well, I don't think my great grandfather's chest of drawers is as large as Jack's table. Yet, the excitement of opening each package, and laying it all out to see, must be what Jack experiences after his knife hunts.

In all honesty, Im taken back.

Jack, thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness that you have not only shown me but my family as well. This is the second time you have brought happiness into my little home.

He thought of everyone.

Jack, Laura loves gift. It is perfect timing as well as she is sowing new Christmas stockings. She wanted to tell you thank you.

Here is the stocking she is making for me.

My interest in knives from around the world has certainly grown and I am extremely grateful for the beauties Jack included with a coin and letter.

Jack, thank you again for the joy created in the thoughtfulness to your gift my friend. It brought a smile to everyone in my family.

Totally agree Brett. I have in my pocket a lucky piece Jack sent me with my birth year along with other things. One of the best is Jack Black!

Good on you Jack, and you give more than your recieve, Brett. Good porch goings on.....

Brett what thoughtful gifts from Mr. Jack Black! Jack you are such a wonderful friend to us all. Well done indeed! :)

I'm glad that the package arrived Brett, you are one of the fantastic people that makes The Porch the great place it is:) I'm glad you and the girls liked everything. Have a great weekend my friend

Thanks for the kind words guys, I am proud to count you as friends :)

Absolutely wonderful!!! :D When you receive a package from Jack, it's an all day affair just like Christmas as Jack wraps up all the individual items. And then the reading, coon fingering and chicken eyeing begins. Then afterwards you go back and revisit each item again and again.:D:thumbup:
Jack just puts so much thought and generosity into each and every package. Well done sir.
And don't sell yourself short there Brett. You've done a lot around here for folks as well, especially me. You're quite deserving and that beautiful family of yours is just fantastic.
Best thread of the week. :D

Again, a wonderful thread that brightens my day. All you folks are wonderful. I love this place.
Thanks, Neal

Remember when
A package arrived from Leeds
Gifts poured out like seeds
Little hearts came together
It felt like time stood still for forever
Tiny little feet ...joy and laughter
I'll remeber that for ever after
When Laura and Adaylynn have moved away
And we are old and grey
And looking back
I'll remember Mr. Black
And...Remember when

( thanks Alan Jackson )

Wonderful thread Brett (always love the pictures of your girls) your a well deserved recipient.

As others posted above, Jacks packages/gifts are so well thought out. He learns of your interests and highlights those and in addition he adds history in the form of cutlery and the area in which he lives. The penmanship is a favorite of mine (seriously) as Jack downplays it but I enjoy his thoughtfulness to put pen to paper.

Very nice of you Jack...LEGEND my friend:cool::thumbup:

Thanks a lot guys, you're making me blush :o I have certainly been the recipient of a great deal of kindness and generosity myself here, and I am grateful to be in such a fine company as we have here :)

And don't sell yourself short there Brett. You've done a lot around here for folks as well, especially me. You're quite deserving and that beautiful family of yours is just fantastic.

+1 Bob :)

You're very kind Paul, I think you're the only other person who can read my handwriting! :D

Threads like this are why I plan to stick around these parts for a long time. Brett and Jack are two cornerstones of The Porch and to see Jack's thoughtful generosity bring joy to Brett and his family makes my heart smile.

I say, 'tis quitw amazing to see all the good people here! So great to read this, Jack and Brett! :)
