A Father & Son Set

Haven't made a Father & Son knife set in a while. The larger is my Voyageur model, the smaller my Little Bear design.

Both are:
Steel - S35VN
Bolsters - 416SS
Handle - Stabilized Maple Burl (from same block)
Pins - 416 & mosaic

Nice workmanship sir.

I do have a comment (er .. critique maybe?). The handle on the 'son' looks (to me) rather thick and maybe difficult for someone with smaller hands to properly hold.

I think the angle of the pic throws things off a little bit. The front of the bolsters on the Little Bear are right around 1/8" thick. I think it is thin enough that it would be fine.

ahh .. yeah, the angle - it looks in the picture like the handle scales are still 3/8" or thicker. Either way .. beautiful work sir. True artist.
