ForgeCraft Hi-Carbon from the 50's. Mom gave it to me and my wife from her kitchen about 30 years ago after she had had it about 30 years. One of the slab scales is loose so I need to find someone to replace the handles.

Great old knife, is it an Old Hickory? Those rivets are two piece, a tap or two should tighten the handle. An easy rehandle job that you can do yourself. You can buy replacement rivets exactly the same or use 1/8th rod likely.

Best regards

Robin

No not Old Hickory. ForgeCraft was Washington Forge trademark IIRC and Old Hickory = Ontario IIRC

I have a set of steak knives and a cleaver made by Forge craft, great knives.

Best regards
