Picked this up tonight. I just couldn't resist. Does anyone remember when this piece was offered?

Its a custom shop build it knife.thats for sure

I thought that only LE's got the black box. So is it an LE or a CS110 with an LE box issued with the knife or did a slick eBay sell just add the box???? NEVER ENDING UNCERTAINTIES with buying on FleaBay. Its still a nice knife and I only paid $20 over what a new smooth buff CS110 would cost from Pete. I still hope its a real LE.

I have one. Can't remember which year I got it, it's about 10 years old but it's a pretty knife.....

I don't recall it being a LE, but it's possible, plus the enclosed certificate looks like it is from the custom shop, but then the blade should be stamped designer choice.

I have one of those BG-42 smooth water-boo 110's also...but with nickel silver bolsters and no rivets...CS job...yellow box... :)

It does have designer choice on the blade. I'd say its a CS knife. That's cool with me. I like the configuration. Most people go with NS to contrast with the black. Pete has one in S30V and NS ready but we're waiting to another knife to ship both at once.

I'm pleased to be certain. The cost was a tad on the high side but those BG42's in new condition are not popping up all that often now.

Anywho, I'm happy.

The knife came in today. That baby is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
The pictures above just do not do it justice.
The camera is on the way to Ohio as I type this so no new pictures for me till next week.
I've got a S30V, NS, Rivets, & Sm. Buff coming from Pete shortly, I'll do a side by side then.

Ain't Buck collecting fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a real classy looking 110! My wife ordered me a CS 110 for my birthday, But I guess it won't make it in time, Since tomorrow is the B-day. Mine will be Ram's Horn with S30V and rivets. Brass Bolsters. Can't wait to see it! Yep, Bucks are cool to collect, and even better to use!

Thanks Flatlander! I wish I could have had the BG-42 like your's has. That Ram's Horn is beautiful!

Don't be afraid to use that 111 on the bottom, the gold is a lot tougher than you would first think!

Well this thread's title is about right for this deal. $94 + s&h Not bad for a BG42/G10 that's NIB. I don't get deals like Armand but hey I'm happy.
