These are some gyuto's I just finished up and plan to take to the Oregon knife show this weekend.

This one is a 245mm made from 14C28N
Handle is some of Mark's Hawaiian Koa with an African black wood ferule and mammoth tooth spacer.

This is a monster 273mm made from AEB-L
Handle is blue dyed Oregon maple sandwiched between African blackwood.

This is a smaller 210 mm made from AEB-L
Handle is more of Mark's stuff. Redwood Burl with a spalted tamarind ferule with bopper and black spacers.

Thanks for looking and comments welcomed!

Nicely done. They look to be very well made. I am drawn to the one with Koa and mammoth tooth. Beautiful knife! Thanks for posting.

Very nice Joe, I like these a lot! The handle material combinations really grab my attention, well done.

Interesting handle geometries. How do you think it balances in terms of looks vs ergonomics?

Balance point is right in front of handle. They are nothing more than slightly altered lines on a wa handle so I don't think they are too much of a difference. Feel better in my hand than some of my standard wa handles.

I hope that they sell of course, but I also hope to get a chance to see them in person when I am able to get there ;)
