Been working on these knives very slowly trying to get the best results from the wood scales that I can. I am very pleased with the outcome.
All are 3/32" CPM 154, heat treated by Peters to 61 Rc.

Nice Chris. The unknown wood almost certainly quilted maple. It could be cascara buckthorn but I'm betting on maple. :)
 
Thanks John. My first thought was Cascara as well but it does not match the Cascara I have at all.
You are most likely right.

I am really fond of how the Mesquite knife finished out. It has to be my favorite of the bunch.
 
I really like your blade set. Each blade comes with beautiful wood handle. Very astounding!
