Andrew Lynch
Jerry pointing to the folder
Kim Hamhock and me
Shaggi
Allen

Not necessarily in that order

Stopped at Gettysburg on the way down and back. For those of you who have never been, it's worth a trip. You never know who you might run into on the battlefield

Attached is a picture of ghostly orbs in the woods next to the Slaughter Pen and Bloody Run just below Little Round Top

Those orbs might be mistaken by a skeptic for something on the lens.. like, say, tiny water droplets. They could also be mistaken for small objects floating in the air and backlit (like, say, by a flash).

Just sayin'... ;)

The pic on the right is Allen Dock; he's the "camo" guy on the website and screensaver, not to mention one helluva nice guy.

I rent myself out for Halloween and costume parties :D  :D

Were the orbs visible to the naked eye? Just wondering. I get into "strange things" like this.

No, only with flash..No orbs previous shot, no orbs after shot. They kind of move around. Lots of them at Devil's Den at night. Distinctly different from the firefilies. :)

51,000 casualties in 3 days. I guess it should not be too surprising.
People will believe in what they want, but it's hard to come off the battlefield feeling nothing if not a few tears

Only with flash? Yeah, you're seeing small insects or dust motes close to the camera (hence out of focus) reflecting your flash.

Note that a prosaic explanation for your photographic artifacts does nothing to lessen the emotional impact of the location.
