A few photos from Blade, and damn it was hard to set that Kephart back down!

.

Hey Mist:

Awesome photo's......thanks for sharing !

Peter

Thanks for the pics Mistwalker. I think my Mastercard would have taken some damage if I went.. A bit far from Norway as well..

Nice job as always, Mist.

You doing a full photo spread of blade somewhere else? I'd love to see a whole album.

You musta took that table pic on Friday morning before they opened the doors to the public. ;)

Thanks for sharing, these are great! I can't imagine the rush of seeing all those in person...

Thanks for posting! I get overwhelmed easily enough on a Friday at the computer screen, can't imagine seeing them all at once and trying to decide.....

Is that first one pictured a Bear Paw Bushcrafter? (trying to catch up with all the new models)

Thanks guys, it is pretty awesome getting to see all of them at once, keeping myself out of debt was a serious challenge, but I was good and just stuck with the Asp I was already picking up.

Yeah, I'll do a full post later after I separate all the work pics from the play pics :)

Public? Lol, that was three hours before the VIPs were even allowed in :D

Man, there were some really nice looking knives in that collection. I am impressed you made it out of there Mist with only the Asp...that's almost more impressive than the knives! Thanks for posting!

Yeah, at this point I am a veteran who knows his limits :)

Great pics Brian! Close-ups are always good. Cool you'e going to try out an Asp. The Asp and EDCII are currently my most used. Let us know what you think of it at some point, I'm sure you will.

So what was your favorite on the table? The curly cue Kephart?

Thank you. Yeah, I've had the Asp out with me the last couple of days working and I love it. It's very comfy in the hand, the taper gives it an excellent weight distribution, and I really love the blade profile. The SP had a little wider blade than I personally prefer, but the Asp feels about perfect in use.

Oh yeah, definitely! I have wanted a curly cue Kephart since I saw the one New York has. The curly cue is about the only thing that can pull me away from the taper tangs :).

That said, I do really want a guard-less Big Paw in in tapered 5/32 soon I think. I like the way that one feels too. Plus...the Bishop was just awesome! Then there was this Leuku I really liked, and a Bushcrafter, and a etc, etc., lol

I have been a fiddleback junkie much since sharking got more frenzy than fruitful, but I wouldn't mine one of this blade EDC's making it back for grabs. Still would love to see that model in 154CM. I live on the coast and carbon requires a little more attention. However I do like the patina!
