I'm new, so if this doesn't post correctly that's why.

Here are a few of the knives that I have- these are Charles May Knives.

Big Hand Scandi - California Buckeye Burl - Black liners - S30V Scandi Grind
Holt Collier - Snakewood - Black Liners - S30V Scandi Grind
Warncliff Volant - Black Palm - Brick Red Liners - D2
"Lil Bladie Mae - Blue Box Elder Burl - Blue Liners- S30V
FireAnt - African Ebony - White Liners - D2

Good Pic, Great Knives.

LOVE the Big Scandi and the Bladie Mae.

Do you find the Bladie Mae's handle to be adequate in a full grip (or is it more of a three finger grip)?

Very nice collection!
I have one of his Scandi Slitters and it is one of my favorites. :)

He puts the time in to finish them nicely. Especially the brushed finish on the D2

Very nice knives! I still need to add a Charles May to my assemblage of knives. I really like the Fire Ant. I have a fondness for small fixed blades.

Also nice article that mentioned Charles May in the recent Tactical Knives mag and a new knife

Charlie's finish what sets them apart I think. That hand rubbed parallel finish is one of a few reasons why they are such a value. Imagine the time for that alone. Its quite remarkable.

I love that little Wharncliffe jewel you got there!

Wait a minute...

I have seen some of those knives at Charlie's shop. They are indeed nice for sure.

BUT

Have seen what Charlie has come up with now?

Charlie has come up with a totally new concept. A knife that will make fire. The fire steel stores in the handle, held in by the lanyard.

No caps screw in or crossthread, and the steel is standard size so replacements aren't a problem. Something new for the new year.

I am a big fan of Charles May knives!!! I have a Fireant. I have 2 more of his knives on order.

I am fortunate enough to own the #1 Firemaker that Charlie did. Haven't taken any of my own pictures of it yet because I can't decide whether I am going to "use" it or not. I paid a premium to get #1, yet I don't own anything I don't use so the jury is still out. I have another Firemaker on order as a user along with a "few" other Charles May customs so we'll have to see. Have to say that the FireMaker is a GREAT concept and even better in person :D
