I mean, REALLY crappy pics. But, what can you expect for inside, without a light box, under incandescent light?
The smallest one is headed to a friend(if she'll still have it).

Damascus mix, unknown; but, it hardened nicely and Rockwells 60 after 3 two hour tempers at 400 degrees. I have a feeling whoever made this damascus, used all high carbon steels, as the etch isn't like it should be for your typical high carbon/nickel saw steel damascus. Should cut like a mutha, though. One heck of a letter opener, I'd say. Needs to have my name put on it, and a lanyard fob of some kind.
Middle one, is a piece of Doug Ponzio's 1095/15N20 tight twist damascus. I etched the holy beejeepers out of it, to where you can feel the pattern, and then lightly hit it with a super fine Scotchbrite belt. Looks kinda cool, all silvery. It's also pretty damn sharp. Needs to have my name put on it somehow, though.
Bottom one, and the biggest one, I'm kinda proud of. It's a really sweet piece of Kevin Cashen's O1/L6 ladder pattern damascus(heat treat in salt by Nick Wheeler, who is a picky bastid when it comes to just about anything knifemaking-wise, so you know it was done right). Handle overlays are some of the sweetest little slabs of Honduran Rosewood burl(I think). As nice as this wood looks in my uber crappy pics, it should look a LOT better, as soon as I buff it up a little with some Ren Wax and take new pics outside. This one does have my name etched into the blade.
