Thats my Mora. Goes hiking camping and backpacking. Need to sharpen it and been meaning to do that for the last year lol.. But its still gets the job done. That dark patina is there to show all the cutting and use the knife got.

I've hiked both up and down that particular trail and it's a steep one! Usually I do a loop so I only have to hit it once in a day....

Nice shots!

[I'll bring sharpeners to BBIII in case your Mora still needs a touch up.]

Hey mike you get only knife porn anything else and you would find your self on the wrong side of the knife with your wife on the on the right side of it lol... Dave we should get all the LA guys for that hike and do the loop. Its realy great toward the end of winter with some of the grass over 6ft tall... The valley would be all green with lots of animals.

I'd be willing to BBQ some elk burgers and some wild boar after a La Jolla hike. If we had a decent size group we'd probably have to eat sort of informally because, as you saw, my little dining table seats only four.

I'm going to be out at the islands spearfishing for a week or so but when I return we should work on potential dates for a LA area group hike on that trail. By then I might even have some seafood to grill! When would you like to do it?

Dave we can do it any time when you get back lets just set up a date and see who would like to show up . We can even get a BBQ going at the beach after the hike.. There are a few camping sites. Seen some guys do fishing off the beach. Cook it right there at the spot .
