A few hours in the woods

I spent a few hours in the woods this weekend. The FBMLE is a chopping beast  I wanted to take some more pics but my Camera battery died on me. Also the Active Duty is one sweet blade and I now see what all the fuss is about. Hope you enjoy the pics.


Here is a picture of a dead/rotten standing tree after a few whacks from the FBMLE . The FBMLE went right into this tree no problem.

After a few more whacks

Then the AD wanted to play also.

On a side note, I tried throwing the AD and lets just say I really suck at throwing blades. I only got it to stick a few times but when it did stick, I went deep into the wood.


And the tree after the FBMLE had its way.

Those are two awesome knives you have. Like you, after getting my AD I also see what all the fuss was about...and of course we all know the FBMLE is the stuff:thumbup:

The mosquitoes where not too bad, i only got bit like 4 times.

we're practically neighbours, I've still got a house just east of you in Oshawa (I only get back there every 3-4 months), I grew up in Bracebridge...

you must have ventured outside of Markham for those photos...

Oshawa, thats not far away at all. Nope these photos where taken in Markham. There is a small forest in Markham that is not to far from me.
