Occasionally, I forge a knife, then find it hard to part with. I'll keep it for a week or two, because I really like the way it feels in my hand.
I enjoy the colors or the grind of the blade, they appeal to me.
If I keep it too long, parting with it, becomes, out of the question.
I have kept these four too long now. They feel as if they were made for my hand; They are mine.

Its tough being a knife nut, Fred:D

Super cool Thread
I can see why you would call them keepers
all are original and appealing

Fred makes lots of original designs.

I can see how having the knives at hand and being able to handle them could make it hard to part with them.

If you can't make a knife for yourself, how could you make one for someone else?

Is the subhilt the one you had at the Ohio Classic show?

Those are all GREAT knives Fred.

BTW, Fred... you're the one who started my obsession w/ Custom knives. I don't know if that's good or bad... lol. :D

Do these look familiar... well one of them is mine... :)
