1. Can you make a Kershaw Leek clip without having the knife sent in?

2. Is anodizing of Kershaw made Ti handles something you would be willing to do?

3. Can you remake the plastic back spacer on the Leek in Ti? It's fairly simple. Three holes and an elliptical slot for the spring.

I've been slowly assembling my ideal Leek from a few different models and am now thinking towards customization beyond Leek lego. Currently it's Ti handled and Damascus bladed.

I have a Damascus Leek so I can make a clip for it yes. The thing on the low rider is that with the Leek if I make a low rider for tip down carry it will also work tip up but if you want it tip up it won't swap to tip down without overhanging. Obviously this will interfere with locking open and the rotation of the blade and if I make it tip down it will mount tip up but its not going to sit as deep as it could.

I'm not really interested in making the lock thing that is in plastic. My feelings are its not as simple as you think to remake it in a titanium.

I can reanodize titanium yes but the detent ball needs to be knocked out or covered to redo the lock side since the bath can corrode the ball if its in it under voltage for too long.

Thanks for asking

I'm just looking for what's essentially the exact same clip as the clip it comes with but in bead blasted Ti to match the handle. You made one for me awhile back in gold Ti for my G-10 Leek.

Can you suggest anyone who may be willing to give making the backspacer a shot? It really bugs me that it's plastic.

I don't know. Its thicker than most anything I've ever stocked in metal as most spacers and stand off are.

That rear spacer referred to as the rear stand off also has a long slot in it that allows the torsion spring to move and do its thing so that part would most likely be very unforgiving for snags and I have no way of cutting that out smoothly from a block of titanium. Its not likely to allow the spring to work as it should if you were to do that by drilling four holes and try to join them because you'd have to really make sure you have it smooth and get all those snags out or your blade would probably hang up when opening now and then.

I can remake a copy clip in titanium for you and let you know when its done. I guess you want it gold then?
