Thought I'd post a couple of my recent aquisitions, beautiful fit and finish on these Great Eastern Northfields. The stags are a scout and a pioneer, the red bone is a pioneer:

PS I just realized I didn't pull the second blade up on either of them:o

Nice stag on those two Northfields Eric, As yet I have not put my name down for a backorder on the stag knives. :(

Those are very nice looking knives. I would appreciate it if someone would show me a photo of the tang/spring/bolster area from the end on please. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks very much in advance.

The large Tidioute is the only one that has a minor problem, there is a small gap between the scale and the bolster on the side faceing the camera, apart from that they all seem OK to me, I think generally they were better than I expected. also the way that the back of the blade comes all the way out to the end of the knife. as noted by s-k in one of the other postings in this section.

Nice shot Rusty1, I'm glad someone remembered to pull out the spey blade. Bill at Cumberland has some stag 23's in stock as of yesterday, maybe some scouts also but I'm not sure. The thing I think many people don't realize is that the production number of 250 on the blades refers to the knife size from each "maker", In other words they made 250 of the Northfield scouts (#73), but only 100 of them were stag, so some of the scale materials are more limited than others. The stag coloring is really nice, has a lot of off white coloring along with the orange and black. I'll try to get some bolster end shots as soon as my camera battery charges up :D

Rusty- I've seen the white bone at 100pcs in some places, but everything else looks right from what I've seen.

Eric

Thanks Eric I'll make a note of the 100 Pcs for the white bone trapper.
