Okay, guys. I have tried the outdoor picture bit and all ofthe adjustments on the camera that I can figure out and it isn't helping.:D So here we go again. All three are 1084 and 15N20. The spear point fighter is a 7 inch 180 layer ladder pattern blade with 416 fittings and a stabilized ambonya handle. The color on the handle edned up more to my liking that with my previous experience with stabilized amboyna. The sheath is the "house brand" from Sullivan's holster shop. The larger fighter has a 9 inch blade made from bold W's sliced and diced and reconstituted using the Ferry Flip method. The handle is sambar stag and the fittings are random damascus. The sheath if from Kenny Rowe. The hunter is a bold twisted W that was then sliced up and flipped. The fittings are W damascus and the handle is sambar stag. The sheath is a Treestump.

Lots is squiggly lines on the blades. :D I bought the PVC and light fixtures for the Coop $75 enclosure today, but I think that I am going to have to use my brother's Nikon once I get the box set up.
Those look great, but I can't tell from the pics. ;) :D

Links to slightly better pics. The color saturation on the handle is off (handle and sheath are darker in real life) but at least you can see the pattern on the large fighter.;) Unfortunately, i had some glare on the hunter and the spear point fighter is a bit blurry and you can see the wood, but the damascus pattern is a bit washed out in the pic.

Happy to see you back at work.
All are nice but like Roger I tend to lean toward the bowie.
The Amboynia on the spearpoint looks really nice - how about a close-up?

Joe you are doing some really nice work. I gotta say I like those a lot. The hunter in particular really catches my eye. The blade shape looks great for delicate point work and slicing and that's a beautiful piece of stag as well. Keep practicing with the camera so we can see the damascus better!

Joe im impressed, your work has come a long way from when I saw it last. . I like the mosaic damascus pattern alot and from what I can make out the ladder looks good too! Post more!

No. We spent the day making a nice size crushed W's billet on his cool ass press and rolling mill. As you know, Claude does a lot of complex multibar Turkish stuff but I don't think that had never done a straight up W billet before. He is probably going to cut ladders into some of it and I want to see the difference between cut and pressed ladder on a W billet. Now that I don't have any time pressure, I am seriously contemplating putting a frame handle with mammoth scales on that ladder hunter I had at Gembloux.
Did you finish the other one with Claude?

Now appearing in a "kinfemaker for sale" subforum near you.:D

Nice job Joe! I like'em all but the two with stag are wonderful! Thanks for showing them.
