I'm currently waist deep in shop renovation/expansion, but I wanted to show a few I completed just before the work began last week.

Muskrat
Blade: 4 1/4" x 1/8" of clay quenched 1095(Aldo), flat ground and hand sanded to 600 grit, then etched and polished to reveal a prominent hamon.
Handle: 4 1/4" of lightly sculpted Claro Walnut with contrasting wood liners, a buffed Tung oil finish and stainless steel pins.
Sheath: 7-8 oz. veg tanned leather(W&C) with polished natural edges and a Claro Walnut maker's mark tag on the belt loop.







Liam's Hunter in Thuya
Blade: 4 1/2" x 1/8" of 1095(Aldo) flat ground and hand sanded to 600 grit, then etched and polished to reveal a prominent natural hamon.
Handle: 4 1/2" of stunning Thuya burl with buffed Tung oil finish and stainless steel pins.
Sheath: 7-8 oz. veg tanned leather(W&C) with polished natural edges and a leather maker's mark tag on the belt loop.







Mini Camp Knife - M.C.K.
Blade: 3 1/2" x 1/8" of clay quenched 1095(Aldo), flat ground and hand sanded to 600 grit, then etched and polished to reveal a prominent hamon.
Handle: 3 1/2" of b&w striped M. Ebony with a buffed natural finish and stainless steel pins.
Sheath: 7-8 oz. veg tanned leather(W&C) with polished natural edges and an integral belt loop.






Acorn
Blade: 3 1/8" x 1/8" of clay quenched 1095(Aldo), flat ground and hand sanded to 600 grit, then etched and polished to reveal a prominent hamon.
Handle: 3 1/8" of figured Red Oak with contrasting wood liners, a buffed Tung oil finish, and brass pins.
Sheath: 7-8 oz. veg tanned leather(W&C) with an integral belt loop.






Northwoods Recurve
Blade:7 1/2" x 1/8" of hand forged 1084(Aldo), flat ground and hand sanded to 800 grit finish leaving light forge marks. The choil has been rounded.
Handle: 5" of moose hide-wrapped and beveled Cocobolo with ebonized Pear liners, stainless steel pins and a natural polish.
Sheath: 5/6 oz veg tanned leather(W&C) with a Cocobolo inlay, Moose hide lacing, and brain tanned deer hide lining.
