here's a few new knives i've gotten over the past few weeks...:D

first is a new woods knife from matt, of ML knife, my third...:D it's sports a wicked
sharp 3.5 in.. 1095 blade... and a black walnut handle, complete with hatch marks, for added grip... the sheath on this one came out great.... i've been wetforming it a little more and burnishing the edges... this is a sweet little knife... feels great in the hand.....

next is an awesome nessmuk made by our very own fiddleback... this knife is gorgeous... very comfortable for extended use... it has a 4 in. 1095 blade.... really dark rosewood scales and red spacers.... the sheath is bomber, as with all of fiddlebacks leather work.. it has a firesteel loop fit for an army firesteel... great all around woods package....

nice work andy....

here's another... a cool little EDC fixed blade, made by john wylie jr. from NV.. this one sports a 3 in. satin finished O1 blade.... and black g-10 scales... this little knife is solid... john makes some great working knives... i have another one of his in s30v.... this one came with both a leather sheath and a kydex sheath.... john also does some amazing leather work....

I dont know but i love the look of the first one. Something about the rough look of it. Heck im sure all those knifes would last you a life time as each looks to be build awsome. Now if you let your boss (wife) choose a knife for her self she might feel better to let you keep the other two.. good luck mike.

You know, mike, I'm really starting to dislike you..........oh, wait a minute, it's envy. Beautiful knives, man, enjoy!

BTW, Stretch, I hope you appreciate me removing all the pictures. ;)

You take great pics Mike! And always pumping them out to us. I love it.

That Muskrat Man nessie is the one that got me into Goncalo Alves.

BTW, Your nessie from me is 01 steel.

Mike, awesome field blades! Sick minds must think alike, I have knives in the works right this minute from ML, Fiddlback and Muskrat Man, lol :D. Great pics too, helps with the wait for mine!

thanks for the kind words Mike , hope it serves you well.

The finish , that appears satin , is actually al ox then blasted again with glass bead. Makes for a much smoother finish that just al ox.

That one was 01 , I was waiting for a batch of 29 blades to come back from HT , and since I haven't hollow ground anything in awhile , I made up a few of those. Even though I used mostly 154cm and S30v , and also now D2 , I still like to do some basic users in 01.

thanks for the comments folks... these knives rock....:D lately i have been finding myself liking the more traditional/primitive-esque designs in knives... and the ML knives and the nessmuks seem to fit the bill just perfect.....:)

t-- right on... you won't bissapointed with any of them.. i gaurantee it.... i actually have another knife on order from matt(ML) too... when i got this knife, i was truly impressed with it once again, i wanted something similar but just a little bit longer..... and a different handle scale....:D

John T Wylie Jr thanks for the kind words Mike , hope it serves you well.

So, Mr. John, how much do you charge for one of those knives like the one in the pic? That thing looks amazing.

You've got some nice blades there! I recently aqquired a D2 Hunter from the forum member Whit. I'm really liking the look of that O1 blade! Oh and nice looking sheaths!

I to have a knife from ML..it is a great little user. I took it to work (I work in a resaurant) and used it as a paring knife. Worked like a charm! Now that lil devil on my shoulder say "Get one of each of the other knives!" Where's that darn angel when I need him?

Man they are all great little knives.....how the hell do you decide which to take with you now though ?
