I've been spending to much time fishing on the bay, ebay that is. I ended up adding a few new trappers and a few other things. Thought I'd show the trappers here.

Burnt Chimney MOP, serialized. #252.

Queen Classics #19, Crimson Bone. Supposedly 35 made in Crimson.

...and a Schrade (USA of course) 97OT, buzzsaw trapper. The liner lock is for the saw. SAKs made me appreciate a good saw on a knife.

The fit, finish, edge, and feel on all three is quite nice. Naturally, the polish is a bit more on the first two. However, the Schrade gives up nothing on fit and while less polished, the backsprings and liners are a wee bit better in the fit department.

The prices were good and the knives are great. I wish I could do that well on all my purchases. ;) The only hard part is resisting the urge to toss the Queen or the BC in my pocket. I would like to have at least a few minty knives around.

Been out of town for a few days.

Those are some great looking trappers to come back and see :D.

Those are some handsome trappers you picked up...........I have a Schrade Buzz saw Trapper....sits near the back door and goes into my pocket each time I go out to do yard work. I find the saw handy for light triming !

-Cheers !

I've got a bone handled one that has very nice fit and finish, good walk and talk. The MOP is stunning but I think I'd be afraid to carry it. Good find.

I agree Frank. While it feels so good the urge is to pocket it, I don't want to chance wrecking the scales. I remember seeing your posts about the BCs among others and that's what made me decide to take a chance. Plus I landed this one for cents short of $40, which seems to be around what everyone else picked their up for. That didn't hurt. Actually, not counting shipping, all three total just cleared a C-note by two bucks. Kind of makes up for the less stellar buys I've made lately.

I know I won't hesitate to take a chance on another Burnt Chimney if one comes along. Classy knives.

Yep, Gramps. That Schrade on the other hand will see some carry time. It's a good, solid, working knife with that U.S.A. on the tang. A take it out and use it knife.

When I get a chance I have one or two other things to scan in. I've been "fishing" the bay perhaps a little too much lately. Hmmm, wait, maybe I need to pick up a fishing knife or three, or more!

Hey, Amos, glad to see you are buying Schrades...
love that Uncle Henry Buzzsaw, been looking for one myself for a long while now.

Hope to get one soon, but a couple of mint carbon 80Ts are on their way to me as we speak, so have to ration my buying for a week or so.

Nice trappers , I particulary like the handles on that Queen.

Thanks, guys. Grateful, not only do the Queen's handles look good, that whole knife is contoured and light so that it sits the hand like a wand. That's what really hurts cause I'm trying to keep a couple of mint knives and this one just begs to be carried and used. I guess I'm going to have to try and find a #19 with D2 for carry so I can leave this one alone. :D
