I've been spending to much time fishing on the bay, ebay that is. I ended up adding a few new trappers and a few other things. Thought I'd show the trappers here.
Burnt Chimney MOP, serialized. #252.
Queen Classics #19, Crimson Bone. Supposedly 35 made in Crimson.
...and a Schrade (USA of course) 97OT, buzzsaw trapper. The liner lock is for the saw. SAKs made me appreciate a good saw on a knife.
The fit, finish, edge, and feel on all three is quite nice. Naturally, the polish is a bit more on the first two. However, the Schrade gives up nothing on fit and while less polished, the backsprings and liners are a wee bit better in the fit department.
The prices were good and the knives are great. I wish I could do that well on all my purchases.
The only hard part is resisting the urge to toss the Queen or the BC in my pocket. I would like to have at least a few minty knives around.
