I thought I would post a few (or 10) of my favorite Victorinox knives from my collection. I stopped collecting SAKs and I no longer consider myself a collector, but I do enjoy these particular specimens the most.
First up is my vote for best SAK of all time. The original 84mm Golfer. Blade. Scissors. Combo tool. Long nail file. And of course the corkscrew as well as toothpick/tweezers.
This next one is very special to me as the Farmer was my first "real" pocketknife. This one is a Victorinox Collector's Club exclusive copper model from 2005.
Forget the name of this one, but I dig the marlin spike. Also includes main blade and the saw. No other tools.
I like the monochrome of this guy.
Who says SAKs can't be elegant? Love the Director. Orange peeler and all--
Another Farmer. This one in a beautiful blue.
The First Mate. King of the Victorinox Navy...
Farmer with old school shield.
I call this one a Soldier because it has no key ring. I do not like key rings on my knives...they snag my pockets and make holes, and they are uncomfortable in my hand.
Lastly, a Soldier with a pruning blade instead of a can opener. I forget the name. But I dig the pruning blade.
Thanks for looking!
