I am still fairly new to this forum but having a good time on here reading about everyone else's knives. So I figured I'd try and post a picture of some of my collection.

Hope you enjoy.

Leatherman Charge xti, Busse CGFBM, My newly aquired Chris Reeve Shadow III, and my RJ Martin Manta Ray and Karambit.

Newbie to the forum, yes. Although I received my first knife on my 7'th birthday, a small Victorinox Swiss Army knife. I carried it everywhere for about 8 years. It was replaced by the "Swiss Champ" which I actually bought in Lucerne, Switzerland when I was 15. The Busse and the Shadow III are fairly new, the RJ Martin Ray is 4 years old and the karambit is 3 years old. The Leatherman Charge is now my e.d.c. "tool" (along with the newly aquired shadow III which sports some safety matches, cotton and an SAS compass in the handle - damn that's a cool feature). I bought the charge about a year ago to replace my wave, which suffered broken pliers as I was using them to pry open a jammed engine cowl in New Jersey at 3 am when I should have been sleeping.

I think a small Sebenza might be in the future. To remedy that lack of a folding knife in the mix.

My collection is mostly usable knives. My lust for "collectable" blades is getting more prevelant now that I have seen what's available out there. Largely in part to this forum.

Thanks for the comments.

Only five knives, but you haven't held back!

Congradulations on the start of a fine collection,
-Bob

Those Sebenzas are not cheap...

You're on Bladeforums now ... get over to our Exchange forums and check out the deals on trading and selling knives. If you're going to use a knife anyway, you don't have to buy it shiny and new. You can save a lot of money that way.

I congratulate you on your excellent taste in blades. You are indeed a person with good education and refined tastes. I am pleased to see your fine collection. The R.J.Martin is outstanding isn't it? Great job friend!

Welcome to the Forum,
Peace.

Come on over to the Busse forum and tell us about your FBM. We are friendly over there and will help get you hooked and forever in debt like the rest of us.

Can you tell us about the sheath for the Busse? Looks great- as does the rest of your collection!

I bought the sheath from Dan at semperparatus tactical. The side pocket on it is enormous. I have been at the Busse forum, a great place to spend time. The FBM is my first and only Busse thus far.... I am sure there will be more! I am a big Fan of RJ's work as well. The Karambit is an RJ Martin piece as well.
