Was sharpening and cleaning some of my favorite EDC knives and snapped a quick picture.

I carry and use them for different reasons, a couple of them are newer additions such as the sway back jack.

I like the trapper because of the way it feels in the hand during use, by far my favorite knife if there will be lots of cutting, it is great in the kitchen because of the long slim blades and comfortable grip.
The blade really are perfect on this one, a very deep hollow grind that is so thin and gets so sharp, but rigid and sturdy, I would like all my knives to be ground like this trapper.

The Old Timer 8OT doesn't get carried often, even though it is simarly sized as the trapper, I tend to feel over knifed when its in my pocket, not sure why. It is also harder to replace if lost or damaged, but it still sees some use just because it is so aesthetically appealing and I really like sawcut Delrin.

The case 3318 medium stockman is very useful for everyday tasks with a blade for every situation and just the right size to be a compromise between utility and carry comfort. It doesn't see as much carry though because I think I hate having decide which blade to use, too many choices. I like the idea of the stockman pattern, but I am a simple person and I feel it over complicates things sometimes.

The sway back is my newest addition and serves the role of my city folder when I go out with the family, it carries so well and is the prettiest, the fit and finish is awesome, only gripe I have is I feel the primary grind could taper more toward the edge, it is more of a flat grind than a hollow like the other case, on such a small knife I don't see the need in such a thick blade behind the edge, but it still slices pretty well.
I find myself slipping this one in my pocket even when I am not going city walking sometimes. It doesn't fair well for food prep however due to small size and no belly, I use my knives for food prep quite a bit so I shouldn't like it as much as I do, however there is a certain character to the little knife that I find charming, maybe it's the near perfect fit and finish or it's uniqueness, not sure but it works.

These have been my main carry knives lately, only one really missing is an opinel when still makes it into my pocket on occasion. It was just already very sharp so it didn't come out for maintanence.

Just wanted to share some observations with you guys that I noticed about a few of my favorite carry pieces. Hope you enjoyed my long winded post and maybe you can share some of your most carried folders and what makes you choose them over some others in your collection.

The Case trapper is one of my favorites, I keep putting mine back in the edc box but it won't stay out of my pocket. My other knife that is always in my pocket is my Case peanut.

Those are some great knives! I've got my first '18 pattern stockman on the way myself.

Hard to beat any of those. I especially like the Case SBJ in Chestnut. I feel it's classy knife that's appropriate for nearly any occasion.
