These are some Imperials I`ve managed to find in small stores and resale shops.

Howdy John,

That's a nice collection! I particularly like the one with fish shield and scaler.

Maybe one of these days you might venture into making some yourself? ;)

WOW  I'm in love with the yellow handled stockman and that beautiful 2 bladed toothpick. Those are nice!

Dandies all, but I really like the pearly fish knife.

They're all great looking knives ... the toothpick though really catches my eye.

Nice score! I picked up an Imperial Toothpick like yours, but with yellow handles in an antique store with the Wife. Mine's U.S. made & is a pretty decent knife. I think I paid $12 or so for it, so I thought that was pretty good.

Are all of those Imperial U.S. made? I recall they had some made in Ireland for a period, too.

Very cool John.
I really like the fishing knife as well. Great finds.

I fully understand why they're some of your favorites. I'm a big Imperial nut myself. Especially the Frontier line. They really are a great value and fun to hunt for.

I'm currently keeping my eyes open for one of the fixed blade Frontier Fillet knives with the fat white synthetic handles.

Great looking knives:thumbup:

I love that toothpick!

Is that real MOP John? It sure looks to be, but not sure. Great price either way.

That's a nice group of knives JK. When I opened your thread this AM I was surprised to see the all stainless knife -- 2nd one down of the two. Does it have an emblem engraved in the handle or is it plain?

I have one just like it with the Boy Scouts of America Emblem engraved into it. It was one of the official Boy Scouts of America knives in the 1950s. I got it when I was 12-years old (1955) when I joined the Boy Scouts. My Troop gave one to each boy that joined.

It's not in the best of shape. I found it on my Dad's workbench when he passed in 1999. No telling what he used it for while I was in the Navy.

Nice collection, Rupestris! I like the fact that when you do find them they are usually inexpensive. I has the fillet knife back in the mid 70`s when KMart used to sell them.

Modoc Ed - it has the Boy Scout emblem on it just like yours.

Ken 44 - not real pearl, but it sure looks like it.

Thanks for the reply JK. I've never seen one of those without the Boy Scout Emblem on it. I wonder if that was an exclusive order from Imperial by the Boy Scouts?

Hi Ed -

I recently picked this set up, I don't know anything about these sets, but it appears to be the same knife:

Those don't even look like they have been used. And that case they came in is a nice touch. Good find there Andy.

WOW!!!! I've never seen that set. All we got was just the knife. I'll have to look into the set. That's really cool. Thanks so much for sharing.

Andy, what does the marking say on the back side of the knife and fork? You better bring those over in September!

JK, That white MOT scaled anglers knife w/fish shield strikes a familial chord. I used to have that exact model, lol its between 2 huge rocks that are part of a breakwater/jetty at Makapuu beach.:D Great specimen, thanks for sharing:thumbup:

Nice FB. I have one like that, but with different color handles & a matching small axe. They came with a neat leather sheath that holds both. They're U.S. made, too, but the steel is a little on the thin side.

I do have to say that the few Imperial slippies I've had have been excellent. I don't know what the carbon steel is, but it can get very sharp & seems to hold its edge pretty decently, too.
