Here is the thin 110 I posted a while back, I rehandled it with some osage.
This knife is no longer in my possesion, dad liked it so much, I just gave it to him, it's the least I could do, considering the work he put into flat grinding the below 110 for me.
I have been wanting to flat grind an osage handled 110 I did and lengthen the clip, but couldn't find the time, or get the guts to light into it. Came home one evening and look what has been done to my buck! In the side by side comparison to a stock 110 you can see how I narrowed and thinned the handle.
I guess my dad got tired of my talking about it, so he did it himself, and a fine job he did, it'll take a hair popping edge now!
This is another I have been working on. The blade was worn down and the tip had been damaged. I lengthened the clip, tucked up some of the belly, now I need to flat grind it. The handle has also been narrowed, the bolsters have been shortened and slightly reshaped. It has been thinned a bit too, but it's hard to tell. It will be thinned more. I also plan on putting some desert ironwood on it if I can get ahold of some. The bolsters will be beveled and smoothed, and I think it will look better once it is re-ground.These last two were 2 dot 110's from the '70's.
