I got an email with some questions about 110s and a request for some pics. You will have to go to Joe Houser's sticky thread near the top, and open the Word document to read all of his description of the changes over the years. Each knife would require numerous photos from different angles, but I'll just stick to the most recognizable differences in the tang stamps. If you have more pics or questions feel free to post and have fun.

I'll start at the beginning, 1964, with the 1st Version, variations 1 & 2:

Then the 2nd Version, variation 1 & 3:

Brilliant vintage collection Scott. I sense acquisition war stories in those knives.

Thank you kindly for the fine photographs. May you live a thousand years.

Scott, wow.... very cool old bucks you got there... Would love have anyone of them... I hope to find the first set someday... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Love seeing those Scott except I drool on my keyboard. So far, best I can due is a couple 3rd versions and a 5th. But I'm working on it.

Very nice Scott,

I think you need to link your photo's with the Joe H. variation list so everyone get's to see the real knife with the information listed. Maybe you could do that for us!!!!!? Most of us have never seen the knives you have; and trying to understand all of the variations are confusing at best......I'm a visual type guy. A picture (or 12) is worth a thousand words.

Scott nice knives but something doesn't look right here, as in my sheets the V1/var.2 says stamp is 'etched' and Scott's second 110 is stamped . So, he must have two V1/var.1 knives a 64 and 65. I've seen an etched blade and it looked more like script/ cursive . The dots we know are 1967 so, I'm good with those . But what do I know, I probably missed something .
It could be I saw the electric pencil 'etched' and Scott's second is acid etched as I've done some of that on my knives and it comes out similiar to his 2nd knife . DM
