Hey all, my best friend recently lost his mother and found these while cleaning out her house.
1) a case, i think it may be a tadpole 6229 1/2 neat little knife 1964-69 if im right on the stamp
2) schrade walden lobster pen (?) M. Hanna Co Prevent Accidents on the shield (mining ore company)
3) a 3 blade Hammer stockman (?)
4) is a rusty mess of a gassed out tooth pick, cant read anything on the tang from corrosion
im keeping the toothpick segregated from the rest like i do my other cell handled knives, its likely not worth much i pull off the cell and do an aggressive clean on it, at least make it usuable again, dunno yet
Any thoughts, info on them
Much appreciated
Gene

Don't try too hard.
Maybe you could peel the cell off that hammer and rustoleum it. There will be little folds of it under the handles, though.

haha yeah the hammer is suprisingly tight and walk and talk is like a trap lol
not at all like others ive handled over the years, loose, gaps etc

been carrying it the last couple days, cool little knife even cut some stuff with it :)
here it is with my carry zippo, photo is a little dark the patina doesnt look quite that gnarly in person, still havent had a chance to put an edge on it either, but its still relatively sharp

It sure is satisfying to gen a nice old case will full or very near full blades, great find!

thanks guys I'm thinking I can get my friend to take the case and schrade back to carry for himself, see if I can't get him on our side :-)

You've got a very good friend there! Wish mine could come up with this sort of stuff......

Tadpole is a handsome small mite whose bone looks a treat. That Lobster might even be fairly valuable, always an unusual pattern. Thanks for giving us a view.

Regards, Will
