Here are a few khukuris that might be of interest:
The Khurmi on the top is a Dhankute Kurmi with a horn sheath and brass inlayed symbols relevant to various cultural institutions of Nepal. The bottom khurmi is a simpler version of the ornate Dhankute Kurmi. Although these are not traditionally "khukuri" shaped, they are quite nice to use as garden implements. I've used one for pruning, and the blade lends itself quite nicely to that task.
Dhankute Khurmi: $90.00 (I have 2 available)
Standard Khurmi: $65.00 (I have 5 available)
This is definitely a one-of-a-kind khukuri. The handle, which is very nicely sized, is made of stabilzed birdseye maple that I hand-carried to Nepal with me. The blade is a standard Service Number One blade. There is no other khukuri like this, and it's definitely headed for the "collector's alley." Scabbard is the Service Ceremonial scabbard.
Price: $149.00 (only one available).
This is the talked-about chainpure/sirupati/ang khola combination - a very cool piece. I imported and sold ONE of these a few months ago, and now I have five more. This khukuri is a pleasure to hold and use, combining the best features of three khukuris: the strength of an Ang Khola blade, the comfort of a chianpure handle and the grace of a sirupati. Other notable feature is the "ridged" sheath. While this will eventually become regular inventory, I have five now that are available at a forumite only price of $100. (They're normally $119.00).
Okay, I said previously that Steven F's scrolled buttcap Ang Khola would be the only scrolled buttcap khukuri we'd ever order. Well, this is still true. These are leftover stock from "shop 1" and have had the logo ground off and replaced with the GH logo (at my request - when I first saw them, they weren't like that). They are NOT blems. TB was sort of "stuck" with them and so I offered to buy them, since his being stuck with them was sort of my fault. I have WWs and AKs of this variety. Price: $70.00. First come first serve. Email me for your desired model.
These last two, I'm not sure what to call. The top one is pretty straight forward - a high-neck handled khukuri. Lower one has a deer horn handle. The horn on one side is enameled. The horn on the other side is a bit pourous, and is therefore available at quite a bargain.
Price for "high-neck" khukuri: $75.00.
Price for "White Deer Horn Mini-Jungle": $95.00
Now for payment: if you're interested, please use Paypal, as it is a rather "seamless" process. Please add $5.00 for shipping to any US location via UPS ground.
