This was from last week's training. The first pic is from the first day looking out from our property. Tropical rain had the jungle pretty wet. Good for training ;)

Actually they're corporate. They do Aerial GeoPhysical surveys so they spend a lot of time flying grids at low altitudes.

Damn good group of guys, I might add. Tough and no fear.

They are flying Cessna Caravans. Thought you might be interested in this due to you being in the airplane business.

The Caravan is an Awesome Aircraft & Expensive...one of Cessna's finest ranging from $750K-1.9 Million.
Glad to hear the Trip was a good one !

Just sent you a pic of one on the tarmac in Iquitos.

Note the guy crossing the log bridge committing the cardinal sin of having his machete on his side. We changed that habit after it was caught.

BTW: what you can't see is it's about 20 feet to the bottom from the log bridge. If you fall, you're gonna get hurt.

Nice Pic's. When you say "property" can you explain this alittle more. Do you run your classes out of there, so it is like a base camp?

Is that for risk of getting stuck with it if you fall off? By the way I can't wait until I have the money to go on one of these survival trips!

Yep, a base camp. This particular piece of property is located at about the 45Km mark on the Nauta road between Iquitos and Nauta at the Rio Itaya. For short training classes we base out of there since we can get clients in and out quick and we have primary jungle within 400 meters of that first photo showing the rain. Our regular classes require inserting clients into deep jungle about a day's boat ride from Nauta.

Usually what happens is the machete sticks in the ground and the handle into your ribs.

Better jungle. More potential for animals to hunt. More remote and pristine.

Excellent photos ... that first one reminds me of a scene from Rambo: First Blood Part II
