I thought I'd share some photos of my new BK2 and my thigh rig, I'm absolutely loving my Becker by the way, I cant seem to put it down :D

They're both looking great! The ACV put a nice smooth patina on it, too.

Now I want pics of you walking around Brooklyn with that thigh rig strapped on. :)

I'll post a few more, they are the stock scales with some skateboard grip tape on it

Very nice ! I like the way the ACV dip turned out. I just stripped my bk2 last week (did a light soy sauce and curry patina) even though I have had it for a while. The thigh rig also looks great..pls no mugshots lol..we know how easy it is to get those in NYC ;) Im also about to try my hand at some micarta today..just gotta stop being lazy and get to Home Depot for resin.

I got some resin friday, i planned on doing some this weekend, still no luck yet :P

about 45 min, id take it out every 15 min. or so wipe it with a paper towel and put it back in

(just kidding, but don't let the Botanical Gardens guards catch you hacking up their wards)
 
Nice. How much do you think that whole rig weighs?
 
That looks like one nice rig you got there. I love my drop sheath for my 2!! Nothing like having that 1 pound 5" blade at your side always at the ready. ;)
