hey Guys!

here are some pics from a huge order I did with some friends, importing knives from the US is expensive but if you join the powers and split the cost this comes out
I have 3-4 friends that are also forumites on the HSL forum and 2-3 times a year we joint forces and things like this come out, usually 5-10 knives, this time GEC has put out way too many goodies LOL and we could not resist

23 knives that arrived in 4 days
there are GEC's (many) Queens and Case knives
hope ya like the pics

Very cool... I use to get excited getting one knife in the mail. I can't imagine opening the box and finding all those knives

Very nice haul, I lived in Asia for a while, and I remember how difficult it was to get the US products that I wanted for a reasonable price, to just shop online and not really think about shipping, VAT, Customs etc..., in truth now that I'm back in the US one of the things I like best is the Shopping.

Especially like that small Northfield you got

it is hard to describe Mike, you take out 23 tubes and boxes, it's like an explosion!!! you start screaming and crying running around the room LOL

you then start looking for yours and start unpacking and cheching them, playing with them, testing edges... some time passes, it's an amazing feeling

it's pretty demotivating some times deliveries are slow, there are risks and so on, buy groups with friends are much more relaxing (not for me I do all the work..) and are worth the wait and the effort, fedex goes a few bucks each in this way and in 4 days you get them delivered at home

the 66# is todays EDC btw, love it

thanks guys, all the positive comments make all the effort worth it, the knives do make it worth but also the comments do a lot

You and your friends have exquisite taste.

Congratulations on an excellent set of knives.

Buonissimo! Can you please tell me what those lockbacks in the middle of the first picture are? Grazie!

Nice accumulation. I would be a bit overwhelmed with that many new knives at one time unless I was buying for a group of folks. I'm waiting on delivery of a GEC slippie myself along with another machete.

well I would be too, I "only" got 8 this time out of the 23 (3rd pic)
I'm not that wealhty yet to buy the whole factory LOL, wouldn't do anyways, too many knives, 8 were right enought for 3-4 days of play

it was really FUN and a great possibility to handle various patterns, handles, models and such without having to buy them first, makes your knowledge get a boost
it really is hard to describe how it has been for that couple hrs I handled everything, confronted them with some of mine, checked mine and so on, really helps a lot to ga ther info and confront
really helps a lot, here we cannot handle ANY gec, case or others anywhere, none around..., one reason I like buy groups done by me, I can play with so many knives YEAHH
