I scored my dream blade, the "grail knife" as they say, and I am ecstatic beyond description...
This is an American Kopis short sword, by Jerry Hossom. I cannot describe the feeling of holding this one, but it's strangely gratfiying, and a little frightening at the same time, lol.
Specs: 5/16" thick 154CM, 25" O/A, with a 17-1/2" blade.
Group Shot: I'm in love wth Jerry's Ivory Micarta. You guys have seen most of these before, but I couldn't help trying to get some group pics. I've never had a knife professionally photographed, but this one makes me want to do it. I'm wondering if a pro could get all of them in one shot? There's just way too many curves and grind lines for me to capture.
I cannot brag enough about the quality of Jerry Hossom's work. He has a gift that seems to go beyond talent, and he seems to be getting better all he time. I'm very grateful to own such fine examples of Hossom perfection. Thank you so much Jerry
