I especially like the little marlin. I bought it new and immediately had my gunsmith cut the barrel down to a hair over 16 inches and drill for the front sight to be replaced. I crowned the muzzle by hand and I can shoot 1/2 inch groups at 25 yards. That's great for me. The scope is a weaver classic rimfire 4 power.

I want an M6 so bad.

Nice collection, the Marlin looks real handy with the barrel cut down:thumbup:

That is a ghost sight and I can actually shoot it as good as my scoped guns. I have old eyes(62 years) and can really pick up on those ghost rings. Here's 3 of my 22 handguns

Awesome guns...I wish Springfield would start makin M6s again. Then maybe I could afford one.

Good stuff! Thanks for sharing. I particularly like the Marlin with the shorter barrel, much improved.

Right now, I love my little Savage MkII bolt .22. Great little rifle, very 'carry-able'.

I've been on the lookout in a dozen gun shops or more for the little Sprinfield M6, they are nearly impossible to come by these days. And when you do, they're $500 (which is retarded).

I've also been on the lookout much more fervently for a Savage Scout rifle in .308, which seems to be even more rare. C'est la vie!

They purchased the rights to the old Charter Arms AR-7. If they did purchase the rights to the M6 Scout, I hope they choose to make it in .22 long rifle and I hope they don't cheapen it like they did the AR-7 design.

I am almost positive they had both rifle in the last catalog. I will be going down to my local shop tomorrow, I will double check. The reason I even thought about it was because I had one on order, but was told that they own the rights, but have not started producing them yet.

Dude Ive been looking for one of them Savages in .308 FOREVER. Awesome guns.

Yeah, 500 for an M6 is RETARDED. What were they 180 when the were out? Crazy.
