This will be my first trip down to Atlanta for Blade. Im looking forward to it.

That being said, i was wanting to ask a few questions as it pertains to Busse Combat being there.

Do we know exactly where they will be set up? How many knives do they usually bring? Can you just walk up to the booth and purchase a knife/knives? Do you think that there will be any smaller blades by BC at Blade this year? (like the scotch dispenser or game wardens) Will there be sheath makers or sheaths available to be purchased at the show?

Sorry if these ?s are all over the place, but I just wanted to get some ?s answered before I head down on my bike. Thank you Hogs in advance.

I'll give it a shot.

Yes. Check the Blade magazine or the Blade Show site online for the layout.

Not enough/ more than I can afford. Who knows?

Not at the Busse booth, at least it wasn't that way last year. Get ready to RUMBLE!!! Swamp Rat and Scrapyard will have some on the counter for sale.

More than likely but that doesn't mean that you can get one.

Not specifically at the Busse booth but there will be many sheaths available elsewhere.

Sheathwise, I'll have a pack full of leather. I hear Dave keeps a bag full as well. Betcha there will be plenty to go around. :)

Gotta go cut more leather, I can see over the scraps! :p

Reconseed, get prepared for the experience of a lifetime. BLADE is like no place on earth!
Are you registered for the HOG Induction dinner on Saturday evening? You need to email Amy-O and let her know your pertinent info... names & # of persons attending...

Can't wait to meet ya! Have a safe drive, Hog brother.

Is Amy-O on here? What is her email address?

As far as the Busse knives are concerned... They dont have any for sell? They just set up shop and show them? I figured that all 3 companies would bring enough knives to sell, I mean thats why Im plannnig on going, is to buy some Busse knives, not to just see them.

They sell knives, but since the demand is so high they do it different.

Last year they opened boxes at certain times and it was a feeding frenzy.

If you want to buy a popular knife you will have to use your elbows and step on some feet, but there will probably be a few that you could snag pretty easy.

My Bad Warden pictured below was one that didn't have any takers and when I won a shop credit, I bought it. If you had been at Blade you could have bought it easily.

Thanks Hogwash. Your little ASH is something that I am intereted in. I love all Busse blades, and I would love to own one of the big Hogs later, but for now, I am really into the smaller pieces of INFI. My reasoning is that I like to be able to carry my knives and if they are 4 inches or under, I can legally carry them. And since I live in the city, I just cant walk outside and around my property (i live in an apt in the middle of town) and carry my Chopweiler or SY S6. So the busse SD and others like it are what I am into. The one piece of INFI i want more than anything right now is the INFI Ice Pick but I cant find anyhwere to buy it.

All 3 companies will have something for sale, but the popular knives will be more difficult to get.

We haven't heard from Jerry how he is doing his releases this year so we don't know if they will all be at once, or spread out or what.

Just keep watching this forum for updates

:D:D
