A few questions about the Buck 110 "the Federal"

I found this knife at a local store here in Germany at the end of the last year and I love it. The squared of "two dot" bolsters are as pleasing as the beautiful blade.

I read a little about this knife here on the forums, but there are still some questions left. I would be happy if you guys could help me out.

First, I canˋt see any rivets in the brass bolsters. How is this knife built together?

Second, the brass looks much less "yellow" compared to other 110s I own. Since the Federal was built by hand, are there any differences in the production process of the brass? (welted, sintered, forged)

its a 2014 knife, and part of a series of 4 knives ……2014 is a Buck anniversay year. Its basically a remake of the first 110 made.

Thank you very much. Yes, I'm quite familiar with the reason why and when this knife was built. I'm just curious about a few details how it was made...

I don't have any insider information.I just assumed they created these knives in the same manner they created all other 110's.

I can barely see the blade pivot pin on one side of one of the two Federals which I own.

the knife is constructed like any other, you just cannot see the pins because a new buck 110 is always finished extremely well.
