I am contemplating purchasing my first large Sebenza! Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm thinking about a "Rocky Mountain" pattern, do they make this one with a ss blade?

Thanks, Dan

All Sebenzas currently come with BG42 Stainless Steel.

which pattern is the Rocky Mountain? All of the current designs are unique and don't usually get duplicated. I didn't see that pattern in the list of Computer Generated Designs that will come out later.

Just letting you know that what ever you order it probably won't be exactly like any one you saw before.

If you are looking for something to show off to friends, a damascus model is hard to beat.

The "free hand" decorated models are my personal preferance for a "decorated" model because I really like the free hand ribbon patterns.

For an "average" (if any Sebenza were average

) user, the "plain" models work very well.

Unless you get a damascus model (which I believe is all Devin Thomas damascus), your knife will have a BG-42 blade. This blade steel will serve you well.

Stay Sharp,

The "Rocky Mountain" Sebenza with a Damascus blade that used to belong to copfish was being offered for sale by Jim O'young earlier this week. You can contact him at oyoungj@earthlink.net. He sent an image to me of the knife a while back, email me and I'll forward it to you.
