with my new spyderco salt I, i was wondering a few things..

1. when carrying it clipped on the pocket, what do you do about pocket crud? will it affect the knife's functionality?
2. can you use break free oil to clean the blade itself and where else on the knife should i apply it?
3. has anyone had any trouble out of the clips on the salt knives? the screws coming looose, etc...

thanks

With the knife clipped to the top of your pocket, you won't get much lint in it, but it's always a good idea to check out any mechanical equipment from time to time.

Break-Free is a lubricant. Since the Salt is totally corrosion-resistant, the best and easist way to clean the blade is soap and water if it's really dirty, or a little alcohol, which will take off most anything, or even just wiping it down.

I don't think you should have any trouble with clip screws, but as with any sytem under some stress, I would check them periodically.
