Final Overseas project Knife with sheath....

I really liked how the sheath worked out. I'll have to work on making that retaining loop not get cut during use. Its in a bad spot but hopefully will make the user happy! I'll try a different position next time.

Here are a few more picts to look over.
Hope you enjoyed :D

Hey! I like that upsized Companion!!!! ...must resist.
Nice leather work my friend.

no..go into the light!!! Dont be afraid :p

The 4.5 Companion is a beauty (others are too) but that one looks like it would feel good to use.
Very nice !

It is nice! I dont want to send that one off ;) Making the sheath tonight and putting the edge on. It will be out Monday morning ;(

Better and better each time, my friend. The big one sure looks like something I would picture myself making if I wanted a hard working outdoors knife - it has all the design features of what I consider a GOOD camp knife. And, I agree, those handles look like they would sit nicely in the hand. And one more thing... the emerald Dymondwood isn't my favourite material, but you make it look good !

Only thing I'd do differently ? Tapered tangs... ;) But you could argue if there was any practical need for it ... Keep up the great work. Jason.

hey Jason,
No diamond wood here my friend. Thats OD canvas micarta. Looks good huh?
Thanks for the complements Everyone.

almost ready to ship!

I think its the oil that makes the OD micarta look emerald. Doesnt look as emerald in real life. Thanks for looking.

Great lookin' knives and sheaths! Really like that OD Micarta.....keep 'em comin'!!! :D

I really like that Companion!! Would like it better in the natural Micarta... ;) Great looking knives! :)

you mean this one?

I hope that kydex doesnt dig that wood up. I made it as flexable without loosing tightness on the knife. I tried to make it grip and not harm the wood. Hope I did a good job ;)
