These are three recent tanto style blade framelocks I have done in the last few weeks.

First:
Tatsu Tanto has a 4" S30V blade with superconductor bolster, spacer, large overcarry washer and a clip topper over TI. The handle is LSCF and the framelock side is orange peel with carbidized lock face.

Next:
Two Oni Tantos with 3-1/2" blades the first one has multi anodized frame and features including a hand hammered titanium bolsters with hidden screws and hammered titanium spacer. The handle material is white linen Micarta and the blade is CPM 154.

Thanks for checking it out!

I like them all. Kewl flourishes throughout!

Thanks. We don't see quite as many folders around here as we could. Stay on it!

Thanks for the comments. Good to hear since these blade grinds are real bear to get right with hollow primary, flat swedge and convexed mirror tip on handrub flats.

Jim, don't worry I have a nice back log of orders and I will try to be better about posting more regularly here now that I have starting to walking through the folders instead of crawling.

Best,
Eric

Eric, I have been seeing that you have a real knack for the folders. These are what you need to stick with. Wish I had the patience for making them. Made a lock back years ago. The darn thing was so heavy that your britches would be down around you knees in 10 steps.

I like what you're doing with textures. Keep up the great work:thumbup::cool:

LOL, Ray what was it a Hawk'n Lockback. :D Thanks, that means a lot coming from a master like you. I really like the challanges of folders and am at it fulltime now mostly doing folders. I will be sure to drop by your table again in Eugene to say Hi!

I am having fun with the hammered stuff, thanks!

Eric

Hopefully you'll have a few on the table when April comes around. They look really good, and yes, that grind looks like a bear!

Thanks for the very gracious comments all, especially you Joe! Brian, should have one or two of these tantos on my table in Eugene.

Best,

Eric

I must say your attention to detail is some of the best I have seen! The second and third knives are good, but I LOVE that first knife! Everything about it is perfect! I would trade off most of my collection to get my hands on that bad boy!

If I am ever in Oregon you might wana watch your back! haha

Great work! Keep it up!
