Hello all I've been reading a slew of great opinions on the swayback, and I'm thinking about picking one up for myself. But I have a couple of questions.
Does the handle feel a bit akward when you cut something downward or away from you due to the swing shape? And secondly does the main blade have a pointy tip or is it more rounded? Thanks all! God bless!

You would think it feels awkward but it doesn't. It sits very well in my hand in every situation. My SBJ has more rounded tip for both pen and wharnie. Its not a biggie it cuts very well and pierces also more than enough.

Go for it. You won't be dissapointed, I am sure. If you do, I am sure more than few fellow forumite are ready take that SBJ off your hands :)

Matt, The SBJ is a Great knife! It's not awkward at all! It's one of the best feeling Slippies there is!
I promise You want be disappointed! It rides nice in the pocket as well! Go ahead and jump on 1 or 2!! Good luck!

The handle feels great, the curve & swell on the end conform to your closed fingers very comfortably. The main blade has a very sharp point, if you hold it like a pen you can cut a newspaper clipping like a laser. It is my favorite small knife & rides in my flapped shirt pocket for easy access. Oddly I use the pen blade more than the main blade.

The swayback feels different than many knives when taking a normal grip but not in a bad way at all. It really shines with the reverse grip. My main blade (Wharncliffe) has an extremely pointy point :). I can almost guarantee you'll love the knife.
