I was lucky in getting to see both the Bushman and the Chef's knife up close and in person while shooting pictures of them. Neither would have gone back to Adam if I had the money to buy them. I didn't use either of them since this was a photo shoot only, but I can tell you (from personal experience with Adam's knives - I own 6 of them thus far) that Adam's knives are worth far more than he charges.

I've taught myself photography. While I'm always in a state of learning; what I've learned (thus far) came by means of studying my equipment and paying very close attention to the minor details in photographs (taken by others) that I find to be a measuring stick for how a great photo should look. In doing my best to emulate greatness, I am hoping to someday achieve greatness myself.

Were I to suddenly take on the challenge of creating first-class knives I would approach it in much the same manner: I'd study Adam's knives and work at it until I was capable of creating a knife that approached his level of competence. That would take me years - as photography has - but I'd have the short-cut of having Adam's knives as a measuring stick to help teach me how to make a great knife.

I mean that with all sincerity: Adam's knives are benchmarks for how it should be done. The two are exceptional knives; whomever ends up owning them is lucky... and wise.

Thank you very much Tahts, it means a lot.

It's been a pleasure working with you and I look forward to it again in the future.
