Just a few random thoughts I wanted to share.

- I never had a Micarta sebbie till this year, but now have three and they are my favorite for EDC
- After carrying a tanto blade for a few weeks, it works for me
- I prefer pocket clip carry
- Love the look of a damascus blade, but it bums me out when the pattern fades after use
- Not sure yet if I like to EDC a large or a small better
- Want to carry a insingo blade more to figure out if a really like it
- Have a few regular sebenzas, but it hesitate now to carry them for harder chores since the blades cannot be replaced
- Prefer silver double thumbstuds
- Like carrying a lefty sebbie to practice opening and closing off hand (You never know, I may lose my right hand during the zombie apocalypse and need to be prepared)
- No matter how nice a UG/mammoth/damascus/etc. I think I have have, someone posts a better one within about a day after getting mine
- OPKs are underrated
- Never fails, I buy a CRK and about a week later one comes up about $100 cheaper.... smh....
- Serrations: got one, but do I need one? and can I sharpen one? dunno

I could go on and on... feel free to add your thoughts.

Good points.
I've got a Micarta 25 and I love it. Took me a while to picket and use it but now that I have I know how nice it really is. I just need a small Micarta Insingo and an Umnumzaan and I'm set.
I haven't tried a CRK tanto, but I want to. I have a few Strider tantos and I love them.
I had a regular when they were current issue and I loved the blade profile as well as BG42 steel. I understand your hesitation due to blade replacement issues but if you've got more than one, I'd risk it.
Love the double silver thumb studs on my 25 but I'm also a fan of the blue, once it fades a bit from use.
As much as I like the look of it I've never had any Damascus but your point about fading with use resonates with me and I'd say that's one of the reasons I've always held off on buying one. Well that and the extra ~$200 price tag.
I've seen some incredible UG/mammoth/damascus sebenzas(looking at LW's collection alone is jaw dropping). You guys and gals have some awesome pieces in your collection.
The OPK series are amazing and I've owned a few through the years. Stupidly sold them off after retiring from the military but never once felt they weren't up to any task I required. My favorites were the Project 1, the Sable IV, the Shadow 1 and the single guard Shadow IV.

I've learned I've got more CRK's than I'll ever need.
They are addictive.
I've got some I'll never sell.
I'm not afraid to use my EDC CRK's, it's not until you use other knives that you realize how well built a CRK is.
Love my tanto's and serrated blade,
I'm warming up to the Insigno blade
I'm partial to the large, but will carry a small in my front shirt pocket.
I carry a CRK every day along with another knife.

I've learned I need inlays (preferably Micarta for spa-ability) on Smalls; can go either way on Larges.
Square jimping matters more to me on Zaan's than pivot.
I miss having a Ti Lock.
I wish the CRK pocket clip was 7/16" shorter on Sebenza 25's and Large Inkosi's.

Micarta + Insingo = :love_heart::love_heart::love_heart:

These words are true, and it's good to know I'm not the only one. :)

I've learned I prefer Small Sebenzas over Large for true every day carry.
I really wish I didn't sell my last Small Regular.
I've learned tantos are great EDC folders and will handle anything you'd reasonably expect from a folder.
I'd love to see CRK add the window breaker feature to more models and know from experience it really does work.
I've learned I don't care for the Insingo, in spite of my efforts to like it(just don't like the swedge).
I've come to really, really like the Ti Lock and would love to see a tanto version.
I've come to the conclusion I don't ever see myself without a Chris Reeve folder.:)

I need to get a Ti Lock in hand... I hear good things about it, but they just don't hit my eye right on how I view a CRK folder. Again, will hold judgement until I can handle one.

- I've learned that CRKs are the most addictive knife brand that I have in my collection
- After using the insingo blade I prefer it over the drop point for cutting tasks
- I would love to add double lugs to one of my sebenzas but I cannot bring myself to send one into the spa with the current wait times
- I think a small micarta with an insingo blade would be the perfect EDC for me yet here I am carrying a small plain jane insingo and a small micarta drop point
- I am bummed that they are no longer retumbling S30V blades
- I wish they offered factory stonewashing on the handles
- I've come to realize that even though a lot of knives come and go I will always own a sebenza

I know what you mean for sure. It took me years of thinking about one before I finally pulled the trigger. I also agree with you, as I don't think "Ti Lock" when I think CRK. Still, it hits more of the things I'm looking for in an EDC folder than anything else I've owned. It's like the quirky relative who's either a totally cool guy or a bit of a wing nut, but you can't quite figure him out.

Smalls are the perfect daily carry size
carbon fiber scales make all CRK knives even better
You always regret selling an annual Sebenza
I much prefer the light colored woods with lots of character
The OPK are terrific

I do not like wood inlays or polished scales
I LOVE MICARTA INLAYS
I wish i had an excuse to carry/use my OPKs more often
I own some knives only because they are pretty
I hate wearing pants with thick pockets for fear of stretching out my CRK pocket clips so I end up carrying a Benchmade Adamas those days.
It kills me waiting for a CRK to come back from SPA
Do I really need another CRK... ouu look what just popped up in classifieds/ebay/facebook

- I like the look of wood inlays best (annuals first, mnandis and large 21s)
- When it comes to Inkosi's I don't mind if it doesn't have detent ball groove
- Actually I am not a big fan of the 25/Inkosi design overall, not sure what it is, but I'm not feeling it
- I haven't handled one, but from what Ihave seen I am not loving the natural micarta inlays
- Like the CGG models, there have been some "meh" patterns over the years, but as a whole really like them
- Would like to see a new damascus pattern be released
- I self admit that I am not the best sharpener of knives, but I try

- At first I was all over small 21s and collected many of them wanting to try them all...
- Then realized that I preferred the Insingo blade shape
- Then one day I got a large 21...damn, change of heart.
- Then I got a 25...it was love at first hold. To this day I still think it's my favorite knife. I'm still wanting an Insingo Inkosi
- I don't think I have a preference over inlayed vs plane jane. I think both look beautiful and both complements my hand very well
- I'm not a fan of the unique graphics. The only graphic I like is the now discontinued Glorious. I think that graphic is stunning. Wish I had one.
- I'm a big fan of the Star-Tac and Starbenza's
- The CRK tanto is the ONLY tanto blade I like. Especially on the Umnumzaan
- I've owned a lot of different knives. I stand behind my statement that CRK makes the best pocket clip in the business.
- I wish the Large Sebenza's had stepped lanyard pins like on the small
- I'm not afraid to use or carry any of my CRKs
- if I had to sell all my knives and only keep ONE brand it would be a tough decision between Ferrum Forge and CRK but ultimately I think CRK would win.
- Yes the 8 week waiting period hurts, but what hurts more is crappy CS that many other manufactures offer. CRK's CS lead by example.

In the last 365 days I have learned:

-Even the biggest CRK Fanboy would understate just how good these knives are.

-The Insingo blade was designed for me.

-As I go through knives trying different things, the one constant is that there will always be a 21 close to my pocket.

-Pivot Bushings eliminate a lot of the frustrations I have had over the years with folders.

-S35Vn is much better then I thought it would be.

Good stuff folks.

Here is my shopping list on what I want and what I am seeing I need to try:
- Insingo blade, I have a small but need a large (PJ or Micarta)
- Ti Lock
- Umnumzaan (this is my write in candidate)
- Broccoli (Don't like the smell while cooking, but will give it a second chance)

ps. I am also having second thoughts, maybe I do need a ball groove on my Inkois in my life. ;)

Put a cap full of liquid crab boil in the water and that will hide the broccoli smell and give it a little kick.

I've learned that:

- No matter how many CRK's I own, I always want another
- Knives are cool and make me happy, but they're not what makes me happy
- I love Regulars!
- Annuals are next
- I don't want to sell any ever, but may have to
- I love the fact that CRK's are dated down to the day (I own three very special CRK's)
- I've learned that this CRK community we have right here is a first class bunch of guys and gals even if it gets a bad wrap sometimes (people don't always know what they're talking about)
- LW rocks!
