Yesterday I took some more photos at Fiddleback Forge. I didn't get home in time to post these last night in the Tuesday thread, so I thought I'd share them here. These are not my knives, though one is a grail I hope to land, and another I fell in love with. I think most have already sold, but I was able to snap some pics before they shipped. It was a fun Tuesday :)

Yeah, they do some absolutely gorgeous work. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time evaluating my finances...

Thank you Will, I am much more used to being in a wilderness environement. This was my first time shooting photos in a light box, there is definitely a different approach required and a learning curve to it. There was a LOT of insane beauty in that shop...it was nearly mind numbing...

Spectacular photos Brian. I would say that you have mastered the light box setting already. All of those knives are off the charts beautiful.

I hope that you get your grail knife. I won't ask you to declare which one it is, but I have my guess.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Phil

Holy smokes!!! Thank goodness you don't always take the photos for them, because I would be in more trouble than I already am!!! Looking at those things up close like that makes me want them all. I was going to list the ones I love, but my fingers can't type for that long. Those pics and those knives are off the hook!!!!

Those big sneakys are off the chart, awesome photos mist

Thank you, and yes they were. First time I had gotten to handle those and a few other models.

Thank you Phil, I am glad you enjoyed them. Oh, I am far from mastering it, it was only a few hours that I played with it, but I definitely had fun and enjoyed the subject matter very much :)

All I will say on that is that it is a model I have had once, but had at a bad time and had no choice but to let it go...

Oh, you probably don't have much to worry about there. I had a blast with it, and if I lived closer you might occasionally be in more trouble :D But with it being a 250 mile round trip with just over 5 hours total driving, it's not like I can voluntarily do that very often. That's a lot of time and a lot of wear and tear to put myself and my truck through every week just to have fun :)

Wish I could make the knives look that good! Thanks Brian. It was great having you here for round #2.

Ha, you guys are the ones who make the knives look so good! I'm just better at capturing it in images...forty years of playing with cameras helps :)

It was great being there again hanging out at the shop. Every time I am there, I wish that I lived closer...

Few of those are from the 'holiday hold out' knife trays.

Excellent photos. I can see a handful of knives I would like to own. I'll need to see if I can unload a kidney before the holidays.

Best of luck capturing your 'grail' - for a second time

Both the pictures and their subject matter are phenomenal! However my self restraint would kindly ask that you curtail further photography sessions as they are wearing him down possibly to the detriment of the bank account and martial harmony. Thank you!

Yep, and I asked VERY nicely for a couple to be held for a different day ;)

I could to, I was thinking to myself...I want this one, and that one, and these two... :)

Thank you, I am working on it as hard as I know how!

Lots of sexy lines there to be sure!

I'm sorry man, I just couldn't help myself :) I just thought a few people might like to see them the way I see them :D

I was hoping you would say that:)

Yeah, those are just a few of the photos I took. I took several of the hold outs. Some really nice ones in the holiday hold-outs. When Ken started opening the chest a glowing light filled the room :)
